Holiday Lodge Rules

The following rules are intended for the good management of the park and the benefit of occupiers. They form part of the licence agreement to occupy the pitch.

1

Holiday lodges must be kept in a sound and clean condition. No change of exterior colour or external addition eg. porches, covered walkways etc are permitted. Homes must not be moved or repositioned. We strongly recommend that gas and electrical appliances are regularly serviced.

The construction of a raised decking area is only permitted when constructed in a design and material approved by the park owner.

Not less than 14 days notice shall be given in writing to the park owner to sell or assign the holiday lodge. Sub - letting of any kind is not permitted.

4 All holiday lodges must be insured and the park owner must be provided with a copy of the insurance certificate on request.

All vehicles must be driven carefully on the park not exceeding the speed limit of 15mph. Parking on roads is forbidden at all times except for loading and unloading.

Parking of cars is only permitted on the designated area next to the holiday lodge.

Vehicles must be taxed and insured as required by law and drivers must hold a current driving licence and insurance. The road traffic act applies to all vehicles on the park.

No lorries, commercial or converted vehicles are allowed on the Park without prior arrangement. Unlicensed motorised vehicles of any kind are not permitted, e.g. quad bikes/scooters.

Rotary washing lines are permitted only when in use. They must be removed when they are not being used. TV aerials and statellite dishes may be permitted with the prior approval of the park owner and should be placed in an unobtrusive area.

One garden store is permitted and must not to exceed 65 square feet. The park owner reserves the right to alter individual boundaries where necessary.

Pets are only permitted with the written permission of the park owner. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners will be responsible for the removal of any fouling on the park.

Please respect the privacy of occupants of other lodges and other users of the park. Please keep noise to a minimum especially between the hours of 11pm - 7am.

10 The occupier is responsible for the cleanliness of the pitch. Public areas should not be littered in anyway.

Household rubbish should be deposited in the park rubbish bins. Please recycle refuse wherever possible. Large items (e.g. furniture) must be removed from the park by  occupiers.

No fences of other means of enclosure are permitted. The allocated area around each home must be kept clean, neat, tidy and cultivated at all times.

All holiday lodges must be fitted with a suitable Fire Extinguisher and Smoke Detector, which must be maintained in working order.

Guns, firearms or offensive weapons of any description must not be brought onto the park.

All possessions, equipment and vehicles must be positioned and maintained within the allotted plot area.

Neither the company, not its servants or agents accept liability for any personal injury, loss or damage which may be sustained by the applicants or their property during the period that any of them are at Acorn View, Oaklands Park.

Children remain the responsibility of their parents or guardians at all times.

Acorn View has consent as a holiday park. Each holiday lodge owner must therefore have a permanent UK residence. Holiday lodges at Acorn View must not be used as an occupiers only or main residence. The permanent UK residence address must be provided to enable a register to be maintained.

All occupiers and visitors are required to comply with the park rules, planning consent, site licence and all other statutory requirements.

20 The management reserve the right to change, alter, amend or add to these rules.
